Policies for full time students
Guidance on progression
How students progress to the next level
- Pass the final test (the pass mark is 60%).
- If you don’t pass the final test, you can still go to the next level if:
- your attendance is good (85% or more);
- you have good marks in your other quick tests (60%)
- all work throughout the course has been to a high standard
- punctuality has been excellent
- homework has consistently been completed to a high standard
- you have exhibited high levels of participation in classes
Students who fail, will have an opportunity to retake their exam once. Students will need to continue at the same level if they do not pass their final test.
Students who fail to take the final test
Students who do not take the final test can progress to the next level provided they have a good reason for missing the test and they meet the criteria above for students who do not get 60% in the final test.
