Deaf school accommodation

During your studies in the UK, your will be provided with:

• comfortable accommodation
• a private single bedroom with study desk
• a kitchen to prepare your own meals (shared)
• a living room with TV (shared)
• a bathroom (shared)

Rules

• All students will need to provide the equivalent of a UK DBS check. This is an official document you can obtain from the police in your country, stating that you do not have a criminal record.
• You will be provided with clean towels and bed sheets.
• You will be expected to keep your bedroom clean and follow the rules of the accommodation provider.
• Any payments made in respect of the Deaf School must not be given directly to the accommodation provider. All payments must be paid into the North of England School of English bank account and monies will be transferred to the host at the appropriate times. This also includes any bond / deposit.
• You must not allow any other persons to stay overnight in the accommodation.

Location

The Deaf School is only a 20 minute walk from the school. Nearly the entirety of that walk is through a park. There are also buses available. The accommodation is very close to Doncaster city centre.

Payment

Payment must always be made in​ advance.

Long-term students must pay 4 weeks' accommodation fees in advance. Short-term students who are studying for less than 4 weeks must pay for the full period in advance. There is a two week minimum stay for short term students.

Any future payments must be paid on a monthly basis and at least 2 weeks in advance.

If you decide to leave your accommodation early, you must give 28 days' notice in writing. If you do not provide 28 days notice, you will be charged an additional 2 weeks from when you leave.

Refunds will only be considered for full calendar weeks. This applies to all accommodation options.

Payment of accommodation fees commences from the arrival date stated on your booking form (even if you arrive late).
